It is formulated especially for resistance to ultraviolet light and provides protection from corrosion, abrasion and minor impact damage. This tape is constructed with a long-aging, solvent-resistant, pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive protected by an easy-release liner. 3M™ 8671 has been used as Helicopter Rotor Blade protection. 3M™ Paint Protection Film 8591

3M™ Paint Protection Film 8591 is a transparent adhesive film for protecting automotive surfaces from scratches, corrosion, abrasion and wear. It features a 12 mil die-cuttable polyurethane base, tested for resistance to weathering, stains, shrinkage and elongation. A 2 mil acrylic PSA delivers excellent peel adhesion. This linered film has no clear coat, making it ideal for protecting non-visible areas.
